On behalf of one of its funds, Bouwfonds Investment Management (IM) has closed a long-term rental agreement with Scapino. This concerns 860 m² of retail space in Dukenburg shopping centre in Nijmegen.
This spring, Scapino is launching the new formula at this location as the first one in the Netherlands. The new formula focuses on the experience of an active life and consists of a very wide collection of footwear, leisure and sports items. Scapino continues to be a self-service shop for everyone, where the customer can shop fast and easily. Until then Scapino opens a temporary pop-up store on February 3, which is currently available between Albert Heijn and Hema.
Monique Korting, Head of Asset Management Commercial Real Estate Bouwfonds IM: “We are delighted that we are the first to be able to contract Scapino’s new retail formula for our shopping centre. Scapino is now putting the finishing touches to its formula. The look and feel is fresh and innovative, whilst the consumer is also sure to be amazed by the wide assortment in store.”
Bouwfonds IM was advised in this rental by Strijbosch Thunnissen Bedrijfsmakelaars, partner in Dynamis, Nijmegen office.
