Group Structure

Bouwfonds Investment Management was founded in 2001 and is part of the Rabo Real Estate Group, one of Europe’s leading real estate companies. The Rabo Real Estate Group is part of the Rabobank Group, a cooperative bank and one of the 30 largest financial institutions worldwide. Rabobank has an AA- credit rating from Standard & Poor’s and employs nearly 60,000 people in 47 countries.

Rabo Real Estate Group

The Rabo Real Estate Group is a leading international real estate company and one of the largest in Europe. It operates on the private and business market developing residential property and working for investors in real estate. BPD is responsible for developing residential property and Bouwfonds IM is responsible for real estate-related investments. The Rabo Real Estate Group  in addition to the Netherlands, also operates in Germany and France.

Rabobank Group

Local Rabobanks, their members and clients form the cooperative core business of the Rabobank Group, putting it right at the heart of society: engaged, close by and authoritative. Clients can become members of their local Rabobank. The local Rabobanks are in turn members and shareholders of the umbrella cooperative, Rabobank Nederland, which advises them and helps them provide their local services.

The main feature of the Rabobank Group structure is the powerful mutual relationship that stems from its cooperative roots. In addition to national and international subsidiaries, the Rabobank Group also has minority stakes in a number of companies.
