Country Management

Our foreign offices provide supporting services for all business units to fulfil local needs. The Country Manager is responsible for monitoring the quality of the services provided to the business units and monitors if activities in a country are compliant with local legislation and internal Bouwfonds IM policies and procedures through the corporate staff departments. In addition,  the Country Manager has an important role in maintaining institutional client relationships in a country and is responsible for the marketing of Bouwfonds IM in a country as part of the group strategy.

martin Martin Eberhardt is a member of the Management Team of Bouwfonds IM and has over 20 years’ experience in the real estate sector.
Before joining Bouwfonds IM in December 2011, he held several executive positions in the real estate segment of Union Investment in Frankfurt am Main and Hamburg, mostly as the managing director of the investment company Union Investment Institutional Property GmbH. Before that, Eberhardt was managing director at Colliers Grossman & Berger (Hamburg), an associate company of Hamburg Sparkasse, as well as development project manager at Daimler Chrysler Immobilien (Berlin).
Eberhardt, who holds a Diplom-Kaufmann (Univ) and Immobilienökonom (ebs), is Fellow of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and honorary board member of RICS Deutschland, as well as of BFW Nord (Bundesverband freier Immobilien- und Wohnungsunternehmen e.V.)
