Sectors

The Managing Directors of the sectors are responsible for developing and implementing the sector strategy within boundaries set based on an approved annual budget and business plan and internal authorization framework with respect to new fund proposals and investment decisions.

MichielDuboisMichiel Dubois has been active in international real estate for over 20 years, in both direct and indirect (listed and unlisted) real estate. He is a member of the Management Team of Bouwfonds IM. Dubois joined Bouwfonds IM in 2004. Previous employers include LaSalle Investment Management, ABN AMRO Bank, PGGM and PWC. Dubois is a committee member of the Association of Institutional Property Investors in the Netherlands (IVBN). Dubois graduated in Dutch law at Amsterdam University and Business Administration at the Business Academy in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

BartPierikBart Pierik  has been active in international unlisted real estate for almost 10 years. At Bouwfonds IM, Pierik is responsible for the Parking activities. He is also a member of the Management Team of Bouwfonds IM. Pierik joined Bouwfonds IM in 2004. Prior to joining Bouwfonds IM Pierik worked for Loyens & Loeff for more than 10 years. Pierik graduated in Dutch law (notarial law) at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

BasVanDongenBas van Dongen joined Bouwfonds in 2004 and Bouwfonds IM in 2008 and has been active in various positions within Bouwfonds IM. Currently, van Dongen is acting Managing Director of Communication Infrastructure in Germany. Prior to joining Bouwfonds IM, van Dongen had an active role in the transfer of the mortgage business of Bouwfonds to ABN AMRO and the sales process of Bouwfonds to Rabobank, thereafter renamed in Rabo Real Estate Group. Van Dongen has a background in corporate strategy & finance and worked for Twynstra Gudde Corporate Strategy & Finance and Kempen & Co (M&A). He is a member of the Management Team of Bouwfonds IM. Van Dongen graduated in business economics at Tilburg University, the Netherlands.

The Dutch communication infrastructure activities (Rabo Bouwfonds Communication Infrastructure Fund) are managed by three external partners, Joost Goderie, Randolf Nijsse and Martijn Visser.
