Bouwfonds Investment Management announces that the remaining capital committed to its second car park fund Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund ll has recently been called to fund the acquisition of 3 car parks in the United Kingdom for a total amount of approx. 92 million euros. Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund ll has invested approximately 300 million euros in car parks across Europe since its launch in 2012.

Bouwfonds IM has acquired three car parks in the United Kingdom. The objects are located in the cities Manchester, Cardiff and Brighton and comprise a total of 2,232 parking spaces. Since its launch in 2012 the Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund ll has acquired a total of 13 car parks in the Netherlands, Ireland, United Kingdom, Norway, France and Germany.

Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund
Following the success of the first Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund, Bouwfonds IM launched its second European parking fund for institutional investors in 2012, with the same investment strategy as the first fund. The core of this strategy is to build up a pan-European portfolio of first-class, sustainable car parks, primarily in city centre locations across Europe. In early 2013, Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund II held its final closing. Assets under management in this fund are approximately 300 million euros. Bouwfonds European Real Estate Parking Fund II is structured as a open-ended real estate special AIF.
